John graduated from Slippery Rock State College in 1976 earning a Bachelor Degree in Health and Physical Education. His dream was to become a teacher and to coach but soon realized that there were very limited positions available. A close friend of John’s suggested the insurance industry. John became an agent of New York Life over 30 years ago and stayed with New York Life into the mid 1980’s. It was then when he decided to start his own company. In todays’ economic environment these people need sound advice so their assets and income last a lifetime. To reach these people he was one of the first advisors to conduct living trusts and retirement planning seminars back in the 1980’s. John’s biggest thrill was when all three of his sons upon graduation became a part of the team bringing the same passion and desire to the business.
